FOR FRESHMEN

A) resumption protocol

 

FRESHMEN RESUMPTION PROTOCOL FOR ALPHA SEMESTER 2023/2024 

1.    Payment of School Fees. 

2.    Original JAMB result indicating Covenant University and program admitted as first Choice MUST be printed and presented to the Admissions office.

3: Course Registration: That will be done in school during the Orientation Program.

4.    Proceed to Resumption Icon: Resumption Clearance and Print Resumption and Room clearance.

5.    Resumption Days are Saturday, September 30th, 2023 from 9:00 am and Sunday, October 1st, 2023 as from 9:00 am.


6.    Parents/Guardians who arrive early on Saturday will have to wait at the designated car parks (front of the Lecture Theatre and the back of the CMSS Building) until 9:00 a.m. when they will be attended to by the student affairs and staff volunteers. Due to an ongoing event that day, it is suggested you schedule arrival for 9:00 a.m.

7.    There must be a drop-off and drive-off policy at the halls of residence to avoid buildup and potential traffic congestion. Biometric registration and luggage search will take place at the halls of residence. Please note that contraband items will be confiscated on sight.

8.    The luggage checked will be noted on the clearance form to be presented at the point of sign-in. Signed Clearance forms are to be submitted to the Hall Officers. (Kindly note that you are expected to pack how/what you can carry as there will not be any assistance to carry your luggage to your respective rooms).

9.    After biometric and luggage search, students are advised to proceed for full comprehensive medical screening at the University Health Center.

OTHERS 

1.    There would be printing facilities for students who may have been unable to print their clearance form at a fee. Sales outlets will also be available to provide alternatives to items seized during the search and refreshments as needed.

2.    Students who require special transportation while on campus everyday due to unique medical issues should reach out to the welfare arm of the Student Affairs Department for further inquiry and attach necessary supporting documentation. (Please note that this service attracts a mild extra fee).

BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR RESIDENCY

Below is a list of the minimum required items that a student may need during his/her stay in the Halls of residence. This suggested list is highly recommended to ensure that the students enjoy a comfortable and stress-free stay in the Halls of Residence. Please keep in mind that storage space for each student is limited. Students must bring only necessary items to avoid congestion in the room.
