Fee Payment Procedures

FEE PAYMENT PROCEDURE

A) FOR PAYMENT AT THE BANK, FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW:

  1. Step 1: Login to the admission portal and click on “Screening Status.”
  2. Step 2: Parents/guardians should make sure the admitted student knows this process.
  3. Step 3: On the line of acceptance, click to upload the JAMB admission letter and WAEC OR NECO OR IGSCE results as uploaded. on the JAMB portal.
  4. Step 4: After step 3, on the same acceptance line, click on “Click here to accept offer.” 
  5. Step 5: You will be redirected to the Student Portal:(https://cuportal.covenantuniversity.edu.ng)
  6. Step 6: Create a new password and confirm (Note that the password is case sensitive)
  7. Step 7: Note, your username is the registration number (application number)
  8. Step 8: Proceed to the bank with the Application Number (Note that the Application Number is the Registration Number)
  9. Step 9: List of Banks:
    • GTbank—Any bank branch, Internet banking, or the bank app as well.
    • CMFB-Covenant Microfinance Bank—Canaanland Branch Only.
    • Zenith Bank—Any Bank Branch.
    • Ecobank: Any Bank Branch.
    • UBA-Any Bank Branch
    • Access Bank- Any Bank Branch
    • First Bank Of Nigeria-Any Bank Branch.
    • Sterlying Bank-Any Bank Branch
    • Step 10. A printout with PIN and RECEIPT NUMBER will be given to you at the bank.
  10. Step 11. Login  (https://cuportal.covenantuniversity.edu.ng) with the username and password you created in step 6.
  11. Step 12: Click on “Student Account” on the Home page of the Student Portal.
  12. Step 13: Click on “Make payment”
  13. Step 14: Select CU PIN
  14. Step 15: Enter the amount paid at the bank (for example, 500350)
  15. Step 16: Click outside the Enter Pin Amount Space (Confirm that this is the payment you wish to make).
  16. Step 17: Then Click on Proceed
  17. Step 18: Enter the PIN and Receipt Number purchased from the bank.
  18. Step 19: Click on PAY
  19. Step 20: The transaction should be successful (if the transaction is unsuccessful, contact 08065276461-Whatsapp messages only).
  20. Step 21: If payment is Successful, Click on Resumption Icon and fill out the Resumption Forms, Print Hall Clearance.

B) ATM CARD OPTION: (paystack cards or paystack others OR INTERSWITCH)

  2. Step 1: Login to the admission portal and click on “Screening Status.”
  3. Step 2: Parents/guardians should make sure the admitted student knows this process.
  4. Step 3: On the Line of Acceptance, click to upload the JAMB admission letter, WAEC, NECO, or IGSCE results as uploaded on the JAMB portal.
  5. Step 4: After step 3, on the same line of Acceptance, click on “Click here to accept offer.”
  6. Step 5: You will be redirected to the Student Portal:(https://cuportal.covenantuniversity.edu.ng)
  7. Step 6: Create a new password and confirm (Note that the password is case sensitive)
  8. Step 7: Note, your username is the registration number (application number)
  9. Step 8. Click on “Student Account” on the Home page of the Student Portal.
  10. Step 9: Click on “Make payment”
  11. Step 10: Select Paystack Card or Paystack Others or Interswitch (it directs you to the payment platform)
  12. Step 11: Enter the amount you choose to pay (Note that there is an extra charge on any card transaction)
  13. Step 12: If Successful, you are redirected back to the portal (If transaction is unsuccessful, Contact 08065276461-whatsapp Messages Only.)
  14. Step 13: If payment is Successful, Click on Resumption Icon and fill Resumption Forms, Print Hall Clearance.
